La Taverna

La Taverna is known for serving excellent food and is a quality establishment. This is an authentic Italian restaurant which serves a variety of delicacies.

Just one lane away from Soi Green Mango and almost next door to Black Jack Pub, La Taverna's been open for more than ten years. It's managed by three Italian partners. There's a spacious 36- seat air- conditioned area at the front, and room for a further 22 in the fresh- air section at the rear.

They offer a varied and a tempting menu along with a great selection of Italian wines too. Stuffed squid, prawn cocktail, mussels gratined with a seafood salad, and also the Rustico – filled with Parma ham, salami, mortadella, parmesan and gorgonzola cheeses plus fresh mozzarella are the real specialties of the place. All dishes are genuinely Italian, using original Italian imported products.

La Taverna has a real barbecue which surely is a delight. With so many tempting homemade specials to choose from, it's really tough to make up one's mind.
