Plane crashes in Thailand killing the pilot

A Bangkok Airways flight has crashed in the Thai resort of Koh Samui at around 14:00 local time. It was attempting to make a landing amid heavy rainfall and skidded of the end of the runway crashing into an unused former control tower. The flight that was carrying approximately 70 passengers was coming from another Thai resort called Krabi to the west of the country.
