Dharma Healing International

The Samui Dharma Healing Center originally began as The Samui Language Intercultural Center founded in 1988 by Hillary and Greg Hitt. Classes in English and Thai languages, Yoga, Meditation, water movement were taught, along with nutritional and psycho/spiritual counseling.

The Healing Center is based on the Buddhist principles offering 7, 10, 14 and 21 day courses. During the programme, fasters complete an elimination fast that includes drinking various nourishing mineral drinks throughout the day, taking a Chinese Herbal Cleansing formula and colonic irrigation. Besides, each person is given an Iridology consultation with personal physio- nutritional, psycho- spiritual and emotional counseling.

The Dharma Healing International is known for cleansing, purifying the body, mind and spirit. In 1994 the fasting program was incorporated by Shelley Fines, a guru in the fasting world. Presently Dharma Healing International is directed by Hillary Hitt, who has over 30 years of extensive experience in designing, directing and teaching Alternative Health Education and Self- Healing programs.

The Healing Center is based on the Buddhist philosophy which involves spiritual fasting retreats in the world and detoxification with colonic irrigation for holistic health and spiritual transformation.
